Fascinating stuff. As a little girl, I would open my mother's Ladies Home Journal for one reason: "Can This Marriage Be Saved?" I see now it was scary sexist stuff and had I known that the writer was berating Elizabeth Taylor for playing Martha in the brilliant "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" I would have sent her my heated complaint in Crayola. By the way, Linda, the" prairie dresses" depicted on the right side of the fashion spread are extremely trendy at the moment.
