Gosh, I was completely unfamiliar with Kill List. The film that scared me the most as an adult was a breathtakingly beautiful movie I saw on television: The Night of the Hunter. I was terrified by Robert Mitchum's murderous preacher. This was the only film ever directed by Charles Laughton, and also starred Shelley Winters and Lillian Gish.
