Great piece, Edwina. I hadn't seen SNF since it was in the theaters. And like others, this horrifying rape scene was lost to my memories. It is so interesting to revisit films that somehow seemed morally "acceptable" at the time of their release. "Pretty Woman" is one that now bothers me greatly.
