I agree with you on that, Lucas. My guess, but I certainly don't know, is that her mother, a pediatric nurse, chose to protect her little girl as her husband was already dead. The fact that Dr. Nesheiwat doesn't mention how her father died in her memoir, seems most peculiar. Anyway, no matter how her poor father died, she is not an exemplary choice for Surgeon General.
