I also enjoy writing about "random things" and I am glad Medium allows me that opportunity. I miss the sadly shrinking world of print magazines. And I find so many Medium writers emphasizing quantity (like the shiny penny) rather than quality. That said, there are quite a few thoughtful and fine writers on Medium.
