I am firmly pro-choice, but Brooke's behavior was criminal. There have been very young women in denial of their pregnancies, who have engaged in such acts. And I get it. They can't admit to themselves that they are pregnant. But Brooke was an adult, and, by the fact that she had left school and disappeared for some time, was completely aware of her pregnancy. She, especially as someone keen to pursue a career in the law, could have found an adoption agency, perhaps a private one. Brooke didn't just "abandon" her baby, she was a murderer. At the very least, she could have "abandoned" the baby in a public place, so someone could have found it and cared for it.
