I appreciate your thorough investigation here. I have a friend, a young man, who suffers from body dysmorphia so intense that he believes no one will ever love him. It is not a weight issue but precuts, a tunnel chest. He has undergone surgery and it is now not a dangerous condition, but he struggles with his body image.
