I enjoyed this, Mike! I am actually (I'm almost certain) one of the few New Yorkers who has visited Vermillion, South Dakota. I was there as an arts writer to cover the gift of multiple red abstract paintings by artist Steven Manolis that were donated to the university. I enjoyed my time there, especially the museum with all the antique musical instruments.
