I haven't bailed, Linda. People who read my stuff seem to prefer stories about celebrities....but perhaps sadly for me, I only occasionally choose to write about human stars. Sometimes, they respond positively to my coverage of contemporary art. But I just have to accept the fact that they don't want fiction or fashion, at least not from me. Yet even hearing from one passionate reader gives me pleasure.
