I liked it, loved the performances, but felt some of the tonal changes were a little too abrupt. From Brideshead to Mr. Ripley to Grand Guignol. Enjoyed your review, Simon. Interesting assessment of the music. I do enjoy reading and watching really terrible people (but not knowing them in life.)
