I love his fiction and hadn't realized he'd written a book on writing. Thank you. This is great stuff, although I'm not sure that Palahniuk's advise on physical descriptions (very Raymond Chandler) works all that often. I think I'd annoy readers if I kept writing things like "a man too tall to kiss" rather than "he was a six footer."
