I loved the first Christopher Reeve Superman films; sheer delight. The second Man of Steel flick was my favorite. I first saw Reeve on Broadway in a play with Katharine Hepburn, "A Matter of Gravity." I remember finding Reeve immensely handsome but wooden as a performer. But a few years later, he soared. Thanks for this soaring review, Simon.
