I very much enjoyed this little chiller, Izzibella, but thought the obit would be a mistake, not a future (or lack thereof) foretold. The British press is always writing obituaries for Rowan Atkinson a.k.a. Mr. Bean, who most recently appeared in "Wonka" and is very much alive. A similar rumor also famously hit Mark Twain, who wrote, "The report of my death was an exaggeration."
