It's so annoying the way people tend to repeat that man-made b.s. that women with gray hair look old and men look distinguished, that men age better than women. Nonsense. Not the men and women I know. When hair is all-over white or silver, it often appears especially beautiful. But graying hair, hair that is less than 50% melanin-challenged, in my perhaps media-generated opinion, is less aesthetically appealing. It took Jane Fonda 83 years to embrace gray locks, but she looks marvelous. Sarah Jessica Parker and Paulina Poritzkova seem, like you, undecided. They start to go gray and then re-emerge as blondes. Salma Hayek too, will exhibit gray lock amid the black and then be solid black again.
