Marcia, you deserve every good the world has to offer. You have taken the high rode. I do wonder, though, if it deeply pained your brothers to know you were so overtly your mother's favorite. I was one of five and neither parent's favorite (or even second favorite) child and that hurt. It still hurts. This is beautifully written and may be part of some future mini-series, although perhaps more like Shameless than Downton Abbey.
