I was a kid working freelance for the revised "Look" Magazine and had written an interview with Mariel Hemingway. When Wenner took over as editor and publisher, I arrived at his office and showed him my piece and he said he didn't want to use it. But then he ran a full-page picture of Mariel, employing one of my quotes. Of course, I wasn't paid.
