Sadly, Lee, there are often no answers. Some say that cessation of smoking can be more difficult than ending heroin addiction. My parents were non-smokers who died of cancers at 52 and 75. My grandmother was a heavy smoker, who lived until 93. (I don't smoke but I don't get it.) I'm glad you had that wonderful time to shop with your mother.
