Thank you for this, Christopher. I was familiar with the Rossetti, but not the other beauties. New York City has a bronze statue of Joan, forged in 1915 during the first World War, at Riverside Park. The American artist, Anna Hyatt Huntington, received the legion d'honneur. The base of the statue contains fragments from Joan's original cell in Rouen, and from Reims Cathedral.
