Thanks for this Carey history, Brigid. I did see "Glitter" when it opened, and while it was a bad flick, I wasn't; t sure she was a bad actress, just an unseasoned and untrained one. A few years later, in "Precious", she was solid. (I also caught one of her Christmas concerts at NY's Beacon Theatre.)
