This reminds me of when a neighbor accused me of allowing my pet bird to keep him up all night. I explained that my bird had a blanket over her cage at night and never let out a peep during nocturnal hours. The man asked, "So whose birds are they?" They were not anyone's birds, just wild birds doing their thing.
