You should long to return. Ireland is fascinating and fun. Since the Magdalene scandals were revealed, there is far less unquestioning Catholicism. The food in Dublin is terrific, very international. Look at all the exciting literature now coming out of that tiny country! The people in general are friendly and so many younger folk now speak Irish, which is a pleasure to hear. And you now go through US customs at the airport there so its easy to fly back to the US.
